Natural hair is not only beautiful but extremely versatile! One of the many ways to wear natural hair is to have the hair pressed and styled. This type of styling does require the use of heat and believe it is best for children 6 years and older. Continue reading to discover some of the press services we offer!
Basic Press. Pressing naturally curly is a process that straightens hair without harsh chemicals, so hair texture is not permanently changed! While there are many DIY hair pressing tutorials, you will most certainly get the longest-lasting results from a professional salon. Your child's stylist will analyze your child's hair structure and curl pattern to determine how it will respond to the process, including the overall health of her hair.
Press & Braids. Braiding a portion of the hair can help keep hair protected and out of your child's face while also giving length to the hair.
Press & Curls. Curls add an adorable touch to pressed hair and can be customized for the style your child wants. Whether your child likes the look of super tight straw curls or large, loose waves, our stylists can help!

This three-day festival is fun for the entire family with live performances, music, activities for children, all while commemorating the end of slavery and honoring accomplishments of African-Americans.
