Easy Summer Toddler Hairstyles & Father’s Day Fun

May 31 2021

Summer is right around the corner and toddler hair can be challenging, especially in the heat of the summer. At Just 4 Girls Salon, we can help find a hairstyle that fits your little one and helps keep their hair nourished and maintenance-free for as long as possible. Here are some hairstyles trending for your girls that you can have your favorite Just 4 Girls stylist do, or you can do at home to keep their hair tamed for a summer day of fun.

Baby bow. If you have a little one that just isn’t quite a toddler or cannot sit still for any amount of time, simply wash, moisturize, and decorate with a simple bow to match their outfit! Let’s face it, babies are cute no matter what they are wearing or how manipulated their hair is – take advantage of that and simply style their hair with a bow!

French braided hair. Kid’s hair sometimes looks complicated and has you wishing you can do that style. Well, this is the case with the French braid. It may look complicated but it doesn’t have to be. French braid two separate braids down the back to keep your child’s hair out of their face. Add a ribbon or clip to add some extra adorableness and you’re ready to play for the day!

Side bun with twists. There’s nothing that says your favorite hairstyle can’t inspire your child’s hairstyle. Kinky flat twists can easily be put up in a side bun to give your little one a polished look that keeps her hair out of her eyes and off the neck to keep cool this summer.

Twisted pigtails. There’s nothing cuter than a toddler in neat pigtails twists. Add some decorative hair ties and you’ve just ensured a style that’ll last all day and keep them looking adorable.

If you’re looking for styling help or something that lasts, we have you covered with our protective braiding style that can last up to two weeks!

With Father’s Day coming up, these hairstyles will keep them looking cute, neat, and cool while you cherish some memories with one of these father-daughter activities.

Chattahoochee Nature Center. At the CNC, there are a variety of activities for Father’s Day! They have Father’s Day Breakfast with Butterflies where you can enjoy a light breakfast, experience beautiful butterflies, and enjoy the grounds prior to opening. Butterflies, not your thing? Enjoy an afternoon on Beaver Pond with Family Canoe Day. It’s great for kids of all ages and a lot of fun! If you just want to come to enjoy the nature center, Dads (and Grandfathers) get in FREE on Father’s Day.

Oasis Outdoor Pool at Cherokee County Aquatic Center. If a day of fun at the pool is more your family’s speed, enjoy a day of water playground fun. With a pool, two waterslides, beach entry, pavilions, and more – Dad will enjoy his day in the sun.

Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music. This yearly festival in Centennial Olympic Park runs from June 18-20, 2021, and promises to be a full day/evening of live music, a car show, bike show, children’s activities, an artist’s market, and more. This is a free event but we want you to support local so come prepared to shop, eat, drink, and enjoy!
