Aisha started her career in hair 14 years ago with one client – her niece. She knew the importance of building her clientele so she advertised her services on Myspace, offering to do hair for $10 or sometimes, for free. Early on, Aisha realized she had patience for children that others did not. Her family saw her determination, potential and skill and urged her to open a salon. She went to hair school and within a week, her father passed away. She didn’t have the energy to continue but she pushed through. Aisha and her husband Kasib opened Just 4 Girls Braids in 2008, taking ownership of the shop where she got her start. In the beginning of 2016, they opened a second salon in Smyrna’s popular Market Village. Aisha values every one of her clients and stresses the importance of building relationships to assure them about the hair care process. She is committed to educating clients and their parents on the proper maintenance of strong, healthy hair.
